131. Autumn trees (102 x 76cm)

Embrace the warmth and beauty of autumn with this vibrant forest scene.  Rich reds and oranges bring nature's serenity indoors, making it a perfect focal point to add color and calm to your space.

In this painting I tried not to paint the trees, but the light falling through the trees.  I did a lot of experimenting with the reds.  When one adds white to the red you get pink.  I did not want pink trees.  I had to catch the light without white.
