296. Pot of Proteas (90 x70cm)

I was sitting quietly in the church.  This beautiful vase of proteas was infront next to the pulpit.  The moment became Holy.  Organ music playing...  I look through the window and saw more fynbos.  God's creation every where.  The light reflecting the colours of the proteas in the water.  In this moment peace reflects right into my soul.  We give flowers when somebody is born, or die, for celabrations, for sympathy....  all because we care.  For me, flowers are the symbol of loving and carering.  The down side of flowers is that they die.  The painting shall last a very, very long time.
